We’ve made it to the end of 2022, and I want you to take a look back at your wins, successes, and accomplishments.

For me, the year got off to a rough start. I wasn’t in a great place physically due to a torn Achilles and that took a toll on my mental health. There were many things I took for granted, such as playing with my children, going on hikes with my family, and working out.

Thankfully, my right leg has finally healed, and I don’t have to wear a thigh-high compression sock during the brutal heat out here in Texas. Now I can shift my mentality and concentrate on my health so I can stay physically fit for myself and my loved ones–and that’s been a huge win for me.

Aside from my personal journey with my health, there’s another thing I want to reflect on from 2022. My wife, Rachel B. Lee, had her first year with StandOut Authority and into this #EntrepreneurLife. This was the first year that I actually had a business partner and someone to split the responsibilities, roles, and weight of the company with.

Of course, it wasn’t all sunshine, rainbows, and unicorns–there were a lot of ups and downs along the way. We’ve stepped on each other’s toes and had some issues throughout the process.

That’s why I’m so confident and excited about 2023 and beyond for our business (and our personal relationship too).

We’re now in a position where both Rachel and I can go out to find new opportunities not only for Standout Authority but for us individually. We can focus on what really drives us and create some true change in this world– and that’s another huge win for us.

I’m extremely grateful for what we’ve been able to accomplish as a team and what we’ve built over the last year. I’ve been fortunate enough to meet and work with some amazing and talented people. People that are adding value to this world and not just monetizing it.

Finally, as I look forward to the future, I’m most proud of my family–especially my children, Skylar and Jayden. The biggest success I’ve seen is with Skylar being able to step out of her shell.

She’s so athletically gifted, but she was so scared to show it because of some of the things she’s been through in her life. She had a fear of people watching her and judging her.

But this year, she not only joined a baseball team, but she’s one of the only girls in the entire league. And she’s excelled to the point where they put her in to close out the game as the pitcher! Now, she’s one of the most celebrated kids on the team. For me, that’s a massive win for her, and I’m so proud to see her shine.

So, why do I share all of this?

Well, these are things I can’t NOT share with the world. Sometimes, we need to take a moment and pause… and reflect on the positive events and successes we’ve had.

Most of us can easily remember all the times we “stubbed our toe” and everything else that didn’t go right. However, we need to put that same energy into celebrating our wins– whether they’re big or small.

And that’s what I want everyone to think about as you look back over the past year. What successes, achievements, and accomplishments did you have?

What milestones did you reach and maybe blew past without taking the time to pause and celebrate the moment?

I want you to think about where you can take power, take opportunity, and take life by the horns so you can catapult yourself into 2023.
